| I would like to inform you all that today is a very great, grand important day. Why, you may ask? Because it marks the beginning of my favorite season: the rainy season! And it arrived early! Usually, in the Bay Area we're stuck rain-free until a highly soggy Halloween night (no kidding. Most years, the first rain is, in fact, Halloween evening. To cope with said fact, in 6th grade I carried an umbrella decked out like a ginormous jellyfish. In 7th grade, I was a Lobsterwoman who'd been eaten by a shark (in yellow rain gear, with loads of plastic lobsters! eee).) So...the rain brings out the dork in me, is really the point I have to make. Maybe that's why Bryn Mawr is so happy: lots of rain, year 'round. And rainboots. Plaid rainboots. That is all! |
